Serving Rockcastle County, Kentucky, Grateful Threadz sells donated clothing and household items at heavily discounted prices. The mission of Grateful Threadz is to provide the community with a place where individuals can find clean, high-quality new or gently used clothing at affordable prices in an environment that respects their dignity. All profits from the store help to fund other CAP programs.

When families experience a crisis such as a flood or fire, they may not be able to afford to buy clothing at any price. Families who come to CAP’s Family Advocacy office with such an emergency can receive a voucher for free clothing at Grateful Threadz.

Volunteers at Grateful Threadz collaborate with employees and participants to keep the store clean and organized, sort donations, and perform retail functions.

Now accepting short-term and community volunteer applications for immediate placement and a long-term volunteer to begin in August/September..
