Ichthus 2011: Be the one.

Submitted by CAP Volunteer on Sat, 06/11/2011

Christian Appalachian Project is proud to be a ministry partner of the Ichthus Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky, for the fifth consecutive year. We will have volunteers at the Christian festival checking wristbands, operating our shower trailer and telling people about our work at our booth in the Global Village.

Our theme for the festival is "Be the one." One dollar can make a difference, one week on a mission trip can transform a home, one summer as a camp volunteer can change a child's life and one year as a volunteer can change you. To bring home our message that just one person can make a difference for Appalachia, we are asking festival goers to bring just one can to donate to our food pantry. We hope to see you at Ichthus 2011!
