The Christmas Basket Program enables hundreds of donors from across the country to share in the joy of Christmas with the families of Appalachia, by sending toys, clothing, and other Christmas gifts. CAP distributes these gifts to people in need.
During the weeks leading up to Christmas, participant families gather together for a celebration consisting of prayers, a retelling of the Christmas story, and distribution of the donated gifts.
Through the Christmas Basket Program, CAP brings joy and the true light of Christ into the lives of the families across Eastern Kentucky each year.
