THE CHALLENGE:
People living below the poverty line often lack access to proper nutrition and reliable food supplies. Children are among the most vulnerable to hunger, as they cannot perform as well in school and are more susceptible to illness.
THE SOLUTION:
Our Grateful Bread Food Pantry makes healthy, nutritious food accessible to local families, including those without transportation.
THE GOAL:
Raise $1.5 million to underwrite the costs of the food pantry for three full years, to serve more than 2,000 individuals in crisis and more than 800 year round — while enabling family members to share the nutritional knowledge they gain with their loved ones.
