Will you make this summer a Summer of Service? This May 31 - July 24, Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) is inviting volunteers aged 18+ to serve in our Summer Camps. CAP Summer Camps serve children in Appalachian Kentucky who might not otherwise be able to afford a summer camp experience. Camps are made possible each year by dedicated volunteers who travel from around the country to serve for one or more weeks.
You can make an impact this summer as a counselor or lifeguard, social media coordinator, photographer, cook, or camp nurse. Internship opportunities are also available!
Benefits for volunteers include travel assistance, room & board, and the opportunity to transform lives—including your own. Individuals serving the entire camp season are eligible for a bi-weekly living allowance of $375, as well as the possibility of an AmeriCorps Education Award (a $1300 value) for qualified student loans or other education expenses.
If this summer is not a good time for you, we are also seeking volunteers to serve as seasonal kitchen help for a week or longer, as well as short-term and one-year volunteers to serve in our Volunteer Corps. You can apply today by clicking here!
