Christian Appalachian Project has a singular mission - to build hope, transform lives, and share Christ's love through service. There is one mission, but many ways to serve.
Our volunteers make a difference in the lives of participants living in poverty through education, food distribution, home repair, and respite services. Placements in these programs is dependent on the length of stay. You need not have any pre-existing skills to serve, but flexibility and a heart to serve is tantamount.
We are especially excited to offer a number of different AmeriCorps options this year starting at one month! Start dates are also flexible for many of these opportunities (see graphic below). However, the number of opportunities vary, so it's important to apply sooner rather than later.
