Make Appalachia your next mission trip destination

Submitted by CAP Volunteer on Sat, 07/26/2014

One week. Lasting Change.

Christian Appalachian Project's home repair programs are often overwhelmed. Substandard housing is a persistent challenge in parts of Eastern Kentucky, and we have lengthy waiting lists of homeowners needing new windows, roofs, flooring, siding, insulation, and other repairs to help make their homes warm, safe, and dry. With the help of mission groups from across the country, we are able to help more families more quickly.

Volunteer at Summer Camp

Submitted by CAP Volunteer on Fri, 02/28/2014

Here at Christian Appalachian Project, we're thinking about warm weather, sunshine, and Summer Camp 2014. This year we look forward to welcoming hundreds of children to our two recreational camps serving children from low-income families. At camp, children and youth ages 6-16 enjoy activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, fishing, skits, talent nights, field games, camping, and more. At a price of $10/week, our camps provide an awesome summer experience that any family can afford.
